
Michelle Hughes, Ph.D., CCC-A
Michelle is a Professor and Director of the Cochlear Implant Research Laboratory (CIRL) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders. She received her M.A. in Audiology and Ph.D. in Hearing Science from the University of Iowa. Research interests involve examining the relation between physiology and perception in cochlear implants, and investigating ways to incorporate telepractice into cochlear implant service delivery.

Priya Premkumar
Priya is a doctoral student in Audiology (Ph.D.) program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a graduate assistant in the Cochlear Implant Research Lab (CIRL). She earned her bachelor's degree and master's in audiology from All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, University of Mysore, India. Her current research interests include speech perception and vestibular-balance functioning in individuals with cochlear implants. In her free time, Priya enjoys time with family, playing table tennis, and watching movies.

Delaney Skretta
Delaney is a graduate student in the Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a graduate assistant in the Cochlear Implant Research Laboratory (CIRL). She received her bachelor's degree at the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2021. In her free time, Delaney enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family.
